Terms & Conditions Of Service
Remote Support
Unlimited IT Support for £10 per month is subject to a minimum 12 month contract. Payable by
cheque or bank transfer on a set date for each month of the contract length.
You acknowledge that you are 18 years of age or older, and you agree that you have the
legal authority to enter into this Agreement and affirm that the information you supply
to us is correct and complete. You understand that First 4 Computers relies on the information
you supply and that providing false or incorrect information may result in Service
withholding or delays or the suspension or termination of your customer account.
You agree that in order for all First 4 Computers customers to be able to reasonably use the
Services a fair usage policy applies, particularly to the unlimited support and computer
support services, to be decided solely by First 4 Computers and at its discretion, and that
First 4 Computers may curtail, limit or terminate your use of the Services at anytime
if in its opinion you have breached fair usage.
The services you select may not be available at all times, and may not be available
in the format generally marketed, and some personal computers may not be available
to receive the services.
First 4 Computers may at any time, without notice or liability, restrict the use of
the Services or limit its time of availability in order to perform maintenance
activities and to maintain session control.
You are solely responsible for being able to connect to the Services and you may not
be able to connect to the Internet to use the Services. While First 4 Computers will attempt
to assist you to get connected to the Internet and use the Services, First 4 Computers is not
responsible for your not being able to connect to the Services nor your hardware,
modems or Internet connection.
First 4 Computers accepts no liability in respect of any problem(s) it may not remedy due to any
matter beyond its control including but not limited to the age, specification or condition of
the Customer’s hardware or software, Customer’s failure to provide appropriate software discs,
drivers or product serial numbers or any fault with the customer’s Internet Service Provider.
Under no circumstances shall First 4 Computers be liable either in contract, tort or otherwise, to the Customer,
its employees, agents, or any third party, for any injury or damages, including without limitation,
any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, expenses, costs, profits, lost savings or
earnings, interruption to business activity, lost or corrupted data, or other liability arising out of,
or related to the services provided by First 4 Computers or out of the installation, de-installation, use of, or
inability to use the Customer’s computer equipment, hardware, software or peripherals. The Customer
will, upon demand, indemnify First 4 Computers in respect of any loss, damage or injury arising from the provision
of the services. For the avoidance of doubt First 4 Computers has no liability for Customer data lost or damage
incurred in any circumstances whatsoever.
"No Fix No Fee"
If a solution is found but the customer does not wish to proceed then the customer will be charged
for the time spent on-site to that point.
If it is not possible to fix a problem because the customer does not have the correct information
(e.g. product drivers, serial numbers, software disks) or external circumstance (e.g. power failure,
flood etc) subsequently the customer will be charged for time spent on-site to that point.
Data & Privacy
The information collected from you at the time you place an order (on you or those you gift to)
will be stored in our database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action
your payment. There are no circumstances under which, this information might be passed to a third party.
